Our last SenseAbility course for parents and carers was extremely well received. This course gives a comprehensive introduction on the role of the senses and movement in a child's development and practical knowledge on how educational problems can be combated. We are delighted to announce The Sound Learning Centre's next SenseAbility course for parents, teachers and health or education professionals will be on Saturday 27 January 2018.
Pauline Allen presented The Sound Learning Centre's SenseAbility course on Sunday 7 October 2007 at the Pan-Hellenic Educational Convention in Rhodes Town, Rhodes, Greece.
Pauline Allen presented The Sound Learning Centre's SenseAbility course on Saturday 29 September 2007 to members and non-members of the Norwegian Light Society. On Sunday 30 September 2007 she gave a talk about the work of The Sound Learning Centre.
These are not medical interventions and we are not medically trained. Our experience shows that our clients have experienced improvements in social, emotional, behavioural or academic performance following our sensory therapies. However we do not claim to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, medical condition or any other physical or mental disorder and always recommend that clients consult their medical practitioners as appropriate and do their own research before commencing any of our therapies.
